GARRY KILWORTH - we are pleased to announce that Rogue Officer won the first Charles Whiting Award for Literature on Sunday the 20th April at The Stratford International Festival of Literature.
 

PETER TONKIN - will be talking at Oxted Library, East Sussex at 7.00 on Thursday 22 May.This will be a general talk about writing and his experiences of it, supported with some readings from his own books and others that have influenced him. This will be followed by a Q&A session.

 

KEIR GRAFF (author of My Fellow Americans and recently published One Nation, Under God) has been invited to partake in a discussion chaired by Brad Hooper on post-9/11 fiction at the American Library Association Conference in Anaheim, USA, in June 2008. Keir will be joining an illustrious panel of invited authors, amongst them Janette Turner Hospital, Ellen Gilchrist and Carolyn See.

SIMON CLARK has launched a 'making-of' blog for his latest novel The Midnight Man, which features Vincent Van Gogh during the most turbulent year of his life. It can be viewed here http://midnightmannovel.blogspot.com/ The blog contains interesting background information on the novel and serves as a gateway to films about the artist plus a virtual tour of The Yellow House in Arles.

May 30, 2008 - A day on the ocean wave! Pauline Rowson will be on the Wightlink Ferry, St Claire, sailing from Portsmouth to Fishbourne, Isle of Wight - all day! Organised by The Hayling Island Book Shop, Pauline will be signing copies of her marine mysteries and launching the latest one in paperback, Deadly Waters. LINDA SOLE - Popular historical fiction and mystery writer Linda Sole's Regency saga 'A Shameful Secret' (written under the pseudonym Anne Ireland) has entered the ebook chart at number two on the Fictionwise historical bestseller list. Follow this link for the full chart.
